Anise, Star - Organic

 Anise, Star (Illicium verum) is native to China and is characterized by a black licorice-like seed pod. Historically, these trees were cultivated near temples for use of the bark in incense burning. It is believed to aid digestion, as well as provide an emotional lift.

BLENDS well with Bay Laurel, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Caraway, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Clove, Coriander, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Lavender, Lemon, Ginger, Mandarin, Nutmeg, Peppermint, Petitgrain, Rosemary, Rosewood, Spearmint and Sweet Orange.

CAUTION: Avoid use when pregnant, nursing, with endometriosis or estrogen dependent cancers or on small children.
